Larch logs are now available from Phil Holt & Son as we continue our aim to offer you the very best quality logs, felled by people who care about the woodland they manage but and delivered direct at a very competitive price.

Larch logs burn differently

Larch logs burn with a gentler heat than our traditionally seasoned firewood and also burn with more 'crackle' and give-out a lovely pine aroma. And because larch is easier for us to process into firewood logs we can offer larch logs to you at a cheaper price. Larch, however, is a firewood that's known to crackle, spit and pop so we feel that it's only suitable use in for wood/log burners and we do not recommended larch for burning in open fireplaces.

Choose between four sizes of log delivery

Just like our tradition hardwood firewood, our larch logs are delivered to your home by us with with one of our signwritten fleet of Land Rovers. Our log deliveries come in 4 sizes: A double load, a full load of logs, a half load of logs and a barrow bag of logs - how quickly you'll use these logs depends upon just how much you enjoy your log burning stove!
 
Our clever Barrow Bag of Logs are wheeled to just where you want to store them - which means no lifting, no mess, no stacking. We also offer log deliveries in nets which make a nice manageable load and are just enough for the weekend. We're often asked by new customers how big a delivery of Holts' seasoned larch logs will be.
